Resumé
The climate change impacts of selected feed ingredients used in Danish pig production were quantified for the period 1990–2025, and a hypothetical 2030 scenario.
As a fully comprehensive, year specific modelling of feed ingredient production across all regions would have required extensive literature review, process specific data collection, and systematic sensitivity analyses (for example on the points listed in Section “Limitations”), the results of this study should be interpreted as indicative trends rather than detailed historical reconstructions. Uncertainty is therefore expected to increase the further back in time the assessment extends.
