You will develop a better understanding of the cow’s needs and receive concrete input on how to optimise your milking routines and ensure high milk quality in your daily work.

In this inline course, you will learn:

  • Understanding the cow’s needs – gain insight into the udder’s structure and why good milking routines are crucial.
  • Hygiene during milking – learn the key principles to ensure high milk quality.
  • Advice and guidance on preventing somatic cell count issues and udder health – understand how to keep the cows healthy.
  • A brief overview of relevant data in DMS.
  • Knowledge about handling treated cows, to avoid residues in the milk.

The course is delivered in both English and Danish:
